I have. A few days ago, I was in Wukari  for work as directed by His Excellency, Governor Kefas Agbu , and the frustration among parents and students was overwhelming. The lack of JAMB registration centers in the state is a crisis.   My cousin, had to wait in line for four to five days  just to complete her JAMB registration. But today, we have reason to celebrate - thanks to the distinguished Senator David Jimkuta . Free Education For All: Why This Matters to Us Tarabans Here’s what Senator Jimkuta has done for Southern Taraba : 1. Free JAMB Registration for All This initiative removes financial barriers  for students who dream of higher education but struggle to afford JAMB registration fees. By covering these costs, Senator Jimkuta is making education accessible to every student , aligning perfectly with Governor Kefas Agbu’s vision for free education in Taraba . 2. Complete Renovation of the Wukari General Library For nearly a decade , the Wukari General Library  was abandoned, left in ruins. Now, thanks to Senator Jimkuta’s efforts, the library is been fully renovated from scratch , providing a modern, well-equipped learning space  for students, researchers, and the entire community. 3. Free Farm Equipment, Machinery & Agricultural Support Farmers are the backbone of Southern Taraba’s economy . Recognizing this, Senator Jimkuta has distributed modern farm equipment, machinery, and essential resources  to farmers across the region. This will increase productivity, boost local economies, and enhance food security  for thousands of families. As the Founder of IBIFoundry , I believe in recognizing and amplifying the efforts of those who make a difference. Senator Jimkuta’s impact is undeniable. Q&A: Hon. Emmanuel Za’aku on Senator Jimkuta’s Initiatives Here's our conversation with Hon. Emmanuel Za'aku; Q: What does this free JAMB registration mean for students in Taraba? Hon. Za’aku:  It’s a lifeline . Many students have missed out on JAMB exams simply because they couldn’t afford the registration fee. With this initiative, more students now have a fair shot at university education . Q: The Wukari General Library had been abandoned for nearly a decade. How does its renovation impact the community? Hon. Za’aku:  Education is the foundation of any developed society. By reviving this library, Senator Jimkuta has restored hope  to students, researchers, and anyone hungry for knowledge. Q: How do you see the impact of the farm equipment distribution? Hon. Za’aku:  Farmers are the heartbeat of Southern Taraba . With modern tools at their disposal, their productivity will increase, creating food security and economic stability  for thousands of families. Q: What’s your final message to Senator Jimkuta? Hon. Za’aku:   Distinguished Senator, we see you. We appreciate you.  Southern Taraba is better today because of your work, and we urge you to keep pushing forward . On Behalf of Southern Tarabans, the State Government, and IbiFoundry, We Thank Senator Jimkuta David's Support Senator Jimkuta is showing what true leadership  looks like. But development doesn’t happen in isolation - it requires our collective support . If you’re inspired by his work, let’s spread the message. • Celebrating Miss Jukun Wanu 2024 - An Exclusive Interview with Rosemary Jeremiah

Miss Jukun Wanu 2024-2025 Do you believe in the beauty of untold stories? Growing up in Jalingo, I never imagined that one day I’d be sitting here, interviewing someone crowned as Miss Jukun Wanu. Back then, pageantry was something we only saw on TV - Hollywood shows with glamorous gowns, flashing lights, and titles like Miss Universe. To me, the idea of a local title like Miss Ibi or Miss Wukari felt like something out of reach. But here we are in 2025, celebrating not just a title but the incredible strides our community is making. And let me tell you something: real beauty comes from Nigeria. Even more specifically, from the North. We have so many talented and gorgeous people here, and I firmly believe that the global spotlight should start looking at us. Honestly, we Tarabans, (Jukuns especially) are so pretty! (Don’t argue; it’s just the truth.) 😅😂 Last December, we witnessed history in Ibi as Rosemary Jeremiah, a student from Federal University in Wukari, was crowned Miss Jukun Wanu. For me, this isn’t just about the title; it’s about showcasing the untapped potential, beauty, and talent in places like Ibi and Wukari. Many of our talents remain hidden simply because there’s no visibility or investment. At IBI Foundry, we aim to change that narrative. Today, I’m thrilled to interview Rosemary Jeremiah - Miss Jukun Wanu 2024-2025. Her story is one of hope, vision, and inspiration for every young person who dares to dream beyond the boundaries of our beautiful Taraba State. Let’s get into the conversation. The Interview with Miss Jukun Wanu 2024, Rosemary Jeremiah Simon Zaku : Congratulations, Rosemary! How did it feel to be crowned Miss Jukun Wanu? Rosemary Jeremiah : Thank you, Simon. Honestly, it felt surreal. I wasn’t expecting it because, growing up, I never even knew we could have such platforms in our community. Winning the crown has been a dream come true, and it’s also a responsibility to represent Jukun culture and the beauty of Ibi. Simon Zaku : That’s amazing. You’re from Ibi but currently studying at Federal University in Wukari (FUW). How has your education shaped your vision for the role? Rosemary Jeremiah : Being a student has taught me to think beyond the surface. At FUW, I’ve learned about leadership, responsibility, and the importance of cultural preservation. My vision as Miss Jukun Wanu is to promote our heritage and encourage more platforms that give visibility to talents from our region. Simon Zaku : Many people believe beauty pageants are just about looks. What’s your take on that? Rosemary Jeremiah : Beauty pageants go way beyond physical appearance. For me, it’s about confidence, intelligence, and having a purpose. I want to use this platform to highlight the stories of young people in Ibi and Taraba State, especially those who are talented but lack opportunities. Simon Zaku : Speaking of talent, what’s one message you’d like to send to young people in Ibi who dream of achieving what you’ve achieved? Rosemary Jeremiah : My message is simple: Dream big and work hard. Don’t let your location or lack of resources limit your potential. We have so much beauty and talent here. With the right support, we can shine globally. Simon Zaku: Lastly, what’s next for you as Miss Jukun Wanu? Rosemary Jeremiah : I plan to use my reign to support initiatives that promote education and cultural awareness. I also hope to collaborate with organizations like IBIFoundry to create more opportunities for young talents in our community. A Win for Rosemary, A Win for Jukun Women Everywhere As we celebrate Rosemary Jeremiah for her well-deserved victory, it’s important to recognize that she represents just a fraction of the incredible talent, beauty, and intelligence that Jukun women possess. Her success is proof that with determination and grace, our women can stand tall on any stage—regional, national, and even global. To Rosemary, we say: Well done! You’ve made history, and you’ve made us proud. This is just the beginning of a greater journey. Keep shining, keep inspiring, and keep raising the Jukun name high. And to the world, we say: There are more where she came from! Jukun women are strong, resilient, and full of potential. Watch out for the next wave of greatness. Congratulations once again, Miss Jukun Wanu, Rosemary Jeremiah! At IBIFoundry, we believe in telling untold stories and giving a voice to hidden talents. • The Nigerian Dream: "I Believe the Nigerian Dream Will Beat the American Dream One Day" - Simon Taki Zaku

Hey there, IbiFounders! It’s Simon Taki Zaku here and today, I want to share something close to my heart: why I believe the Nigerian dream can be a better American dream. Now, before you roll your eyes and think I’ve lost my marbles, let me take you on a little journey. You see, I’ve researched both sides of this coin. There's the hustle and bustle of life in the U.S., where every minute is accounted for and every dollar feels like it’s doing some heavy lifting. Life there can feel… well, too formal for my taste. But let me tell you, with just a few dollars in Nigeria, you can live like royalty! Literally. How Can the Nigerian Dreamer Achieve More than a Typical American Dream? Picture This: A few weeks ago, I was strolling through the streets of Jalingo, enjoying the sights, and street DJ sounds, when I bumped into a friend of mine, Joseph. Joseph had just returned from the U.S. after years of chasing the so-called American dream. He told me stories, but the one that caught my attention was about his recent project back home. He casually mentioned, “Simon, with just a little cash, I’ve bought this massive piece of land here. You should see the view!” I couldn't help but laugh; he was practically glowing. Now, let’s talk about what Joseph said next. He shared that for the same amount of money he would’ve spent on a studio apartment in the States, he was building a spacious house in Taraba. And my people, this isn’t just a structure; this is a beautiful home where he plans to host family, friends, and maybe even a party or two (or three)! Do you understand what I’m getting at? With the rising cost of living in America, and let’s not forget the taxes, it’s no surprise that many Nigerians living abroad send small amounts of money back home. They know the value of their dollars here. With just a sprinkle of greenbacks, you can build a mansion in Nigeria, enjoy your life, and still have change left for some good jollof rice! But it's not just about mansions, or expensive things in Nigeria. Let Me Explain... Life in Nigeria isn’t just about the money; it’s about the "Naija" experience. It’s about laughter, community, and the rich culture that we have. Imagine a life where you wake up to the sounds of laughter and the aroma of freshly cooked Suya, jollof, and various amazing Nigerian meals. Where family and friends gather to share stories and celebrate life. I mean, can you imagine trying to replicate that kind of joy in a high-rise apartment in New York City? Not a chance! And here’s the kicker—real estate investment in Nigeria is accessible. With land prices in places like Ibi, Taraba being surprisingly low, you can make your dreams a reality. Whether you want to build a cozy family home or invest in properties for rental income, the opportunities are endless. Let’s Talk About Safety... Now, I know the news in the media often paints Nigeria in a bad light . We’ve all heard the stories of violence and unrest, but let me be honest with you: a lot of it is overhyped. Heard about 'Boko-haram'? The truth is, Nigeria has its challenges, but the areas the media focuses on are just a fraction of what we experience in our daily lives. I mean I've lived all my life here. In contrast, many people living in developed countries, especially in the U.S., are more concerned about gun violence. Not to say there isn't violence here but it's not where people, cities are. Just take a look at some of the major cities: Chicago, New York, and Baltimore have seen countless incidents of gun violence. People are worried about their safety even while doing everyday things like walking down the street, shopping, or even just sitting in a café. In fact, people are staying indoors more and more, afraid to go out because of the risk of gun violence. But guess what? Here in Nigeria, we can walk through our neighborhoods without constantly looking over our shoulders. I can stroll through the streets of Jalingo or any village nearby, greet my neighbors, laugh with the kids, and just enjoy life. We may not be 100% free from crime (where is?), but you don’t have to live in fear every day. You can go about your business and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of life. So when the media tells you how dangerous Nigeria is, just know they are leaving out the full picture. I’ve lived here my entire life, and I can tell you that in most parts of the country, especially in Taraba, it’s peaceful. You can walk around unarmed and feel completely safe, and that’s something I never took for granted. What Do You Think? I'd love to know your thoughts (comment below) So, if you’ve ever considered making the leap to invest back home, now is the time. Why wait for the American dream to come to you when you can create your own right here in Nigeria? Remember, while we may be thousands of miles apart, the connections we maintain back home keep us grounded. It’s not just about sending money; it’s about building dreams. So, next time you hear about your friends building a mansion back home, remember Joseph and his huge plot. Haha! As always, I’m here to help you navigate this journey. Whether you want to join us, donate, or simply learn more about the potential waiting for you in Ibi, Taraba state, reach out! What are you waiting for? Let's build that dream together! Subscribe for more untold Nigerian Stories! God bless you! Best, Simon Taki Zaku Founder, CEO, IBIFoundry

Now, one misconception I hear is about how websites rank on Google and search engines. FIRST THING TO KNOW; How Search Engines Like Google Rank Websites (or Blogs) Most people and website owners are not aware of how search engines even work. How do they crawl a website, or what pages do search engines choose to rank? In simple terms, Search engines crawl every website online and every individual page on each website. Search engine crawlers then read and recommend your website's pages to search engine users based on the content on the page. So if you have an about us page on your website, and someone searches "About you" then that about page should show up if properly optimized for search engines. What you may see when you search about me on Google (updates with time) Or when you Google search "Cartflows Alternatives", my page pops up because I have a page targeting that keyword and properly optimized. I am currently ranking on page one for "Cartflows Alternatives" That is a blog post page. Websites can only rank for a few keywords if they only create pages like: About us The Team What we do Register, etc. But with a blog for your business, startup, NGO, online store, etc, you can create hundreds of pages that target different SEO keywords of your choice . Let me give an example... With 50 blog posts published, this website currently ranks for 952 Google keywords. I don't think that will have been possible with just an About, Contact, or Register Pages. Some SEO keywords my website is currently ranking for At the time of writing, I am ranking for 952 SEO keywords on Google And this free SEO course will share the exact blueprint I use to do this. STEP BY STEP! Are you ready? Yes? • Who Is Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas? Is Taraba State Changing Under Governor Dr. Kefas?

Who Is Governor Dr. Kefas Agbu? From the Nigerian Military to the Ministry, and Now Leading Taraba State (2023 to 2026). Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar (Right) alongside Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas (left) Today, I want to share the story of a man who has impacted not just my life but thousands of Tarabans. This man embodies both humility and strength. Meet Governor Dr. Kefas Agbu, a man who is more than his title. CEO, IbiFoundry.com.ng , Simon Taki Zaku (me) with Pastor Dr. Agbu Kefas (right) He’s a former military officer, a pastor, and now the Governor of our very own London, Taraba State, Nigeria. His journey is filled with unexpected turns, and a lot of people don’t know about the winding path he took to get here. In fact most Tarabans never saw it. But I’ve been a bit fortunate to have seen his growth up close, and I’m proud to tell his story. Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas: The Soldier Who Served Our Country Many people assume Governor Kefas Agbu has been in politics for years, but in truth, his journey began in the Nigerian Army. He served as a soldier for many years and rose to the respected rank of Lieutenant Colonel. That's huge, especially in Nigeria. Now, let’s be honest—how many people do you know who reach that level of leadership, serve their country, and then decide to take an entirely different path? Not many. Dr. Agbu eventually retired from the military. He was a highly decorated officer, and it wouldn’t have been surprising if he had continued in the army. But instead, he chose to follow his faith. From Colonel to a Dedicated Man of God - Great Gospel House Ministries CEO, IbiFoundry.com.ng , Simon Taki Zaku (me) giving a testimony at Pastor Dr. Agbu Kefas' Great Gospel House Church in Jalingo, Taraba state, Nigeria. After his time in the military, Dr. Agbu took up an entirely different role - he became a full-time pastor. Yes, you read that right. He started a ministry and built a church right here in Jalingo, Taraba State. He is dedicated to his ministry, pouring his energy into the spiritual growth of his community. Right there, you see a glimpse of his character. Here was a man with leadership, humility, and a genuine love for people. At the time, there was no hint that he would enter the political scene. All he showed was love and care for so many people. An Unexpected Turn Into Politics One day, I heard some unexpected news—he had been appointed as the Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) - the ruling political party here in Taraba State! It came as a surprise but I was thrilled! This wasn’t a man who actively sought political power, and yet, here he was, stepping into an influential role. God wanted him there. After serving with distinction, he eventually felt called to a new path, and he decided to contest for the governorship of Taraba State in the 2023 General Elections. Governor Dr. Kefas Agbu’s Five-Point Agenda for Taraba Now, as the Governor, Dr. Agbu is bringing real, tangible improvements to Taraba State. His five-point agenda is focused on areas that are crucial to the people, and the changes are visible everywhere. Let’s take a closer look at what he’s done so far: 1. Free Education for All Yes, you heard that right! Basic education is FREE IN TARABA STATE. One of the most transformative policies Dr. Agbu has implemented is free education. In a country where access to education can be a struggle for many families, this is huge. He believes in the power of education to uplift communities and create a brighter future for the youth of Taraba. Now, children across the state can attend school without worrying about fees, and that’s a legacy that will impact generations to come. I was particularly amazed when I met a man who sells roasted meat (Nigerian Suya) to me in school. (Story for another blog post - be sure to subscribe to get updated) 2. Revitalizing Infrastructure and Roads Taraba State’s infrastructure is seeing a major overhaul. Roads that were neglected are now being rebuilt, and new ones are being constructed to connect remote areas. Transportation is becoming easier and safer, and new buses are being introduced to facilitate movement across the state. For many people, these changes mean better access to markets, schools, and hospitals. 3. Health Sector Reforms Dr. Agbu understands that good healthcare is fundamental. Under his administration, new hospitals are being built, and existing ones are being upgraded. Healthcare facilities that had fallen into disrepair are now being brought back to life, and people no longer have to travel far to receive quality medical care. The focus on healthcare has made a huge difference, and it’s clear that he is committed to improving the well-being of the people. 4. Strengthening Security and Safety Security has always been a concern in Nigeria, and Taraba is no exception. But with Dr. Agbu at, there’s a renewed focus on safety. Security agencies in the state have become more active, and there’s a noticeable improvement in the overall security situation. People can go about their daily lives with more peace of mind, and that sense of safety is invaluable. 5. Empowering the Local Economy Beyond infrastructure, Dr. Agbu is committed to economic empowerment. He’s working to create job opportunities, support local businesses, and attract foreign investment into the state (what we, IBIFoundry advocate for too - read more here). Dr. Agbu understands that a thriving economy starts with empowering the people, and his policies reflect that vision. Industries are beginning to flourish, and there’s a renewed sense of economic growth in Taraba. Dr. Agbu Kefas: A Leader of the People In a state where past leaders have often made promises without delivering, Dr. Kefas Agbu stands out. People can see the changes he’s making, and they feel the difference in their lives. There are always critics, of course, but I believe in him because I know him. I’ve seen him lift up those around him, not just with words, but with actions. A Call to Share His Story So, if you resonate with this story, if you see the impact Governor Dr. Kefas Agbu is making in Taraba, help us spread the word. Share this message, tell others about him, and let’s show the world that real, compassionate leaders still exist. And who knows, maybe he’ll see this post and know how much he is valued here in Taraba. This is my tribute to a man who went from soldier to servant leader, from pastor to governor. Governor Dr. Kefas Agbu, thank you for your dedication, your faith, and your service. Taraba is lucky to have you, and I’m grateful to know you. (Please this article/resource is not sponsored and Ibifoundry nor I have been paid to write this) Best, Simon Taki Zaku Founder, IBIFoundry Group.

  • I've Received ₦2 million from Paystack: But Is Paystack a Scam? My Love-Hate Relationship with the Payment Gateway

I've Received ₦2 million + Is Paystack a Scam? My Love-Hate Relationship with Payment When it comes to handling online transactions in Nigeria, Paystack  is like that one friend you can’t live without, but sometimes they frustrate you so much you wonder why you’re still friends. If you’ve been running an online business for a while, I’m sure you can relate. I’ve personally used Paystack to generate over ₦2 million  from my websites, clients, and even for transactions on IBIFoundry . It’s my go-to payment platform. But as much as I rely on it, there are days I feel like screaming, “Paystack, what’s wrong with you?!” In this post, I’ll share my personal experiences - both the good and the bad. If you’ve ever wondered whether Paystack is a scam (spoiler: it’s NOT), keep reading to find out why I have a love-hate relationship with this platform. What Is Paystack? Paystack  is a Nigerian fintech company that allows businesses to accept payments online  and offline. Whether it’s through debit cards, bank transfers, USSD, or even QR codes, Paystack makes it easy for businesses to get paid. Founded in 2015  by Shola Akinlade  and Ezra Olubi , the company quickly became one of the biggest names in African fintech. In fact, in 2020, Paystack made headlines when it was acquired by Stripe  for over $200 million . That’s huge! Today, Paystack powers payments for thousands of businesses across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and more. My Love-Hate Story with Paystack Like I said earlier, I’ve processed over ₦2 million  through Paystack. From client payments to sales on IBIFoundry, it’s been my payment engine. But despite its reliability, I’ve had countless issues that made me question my loyalty. So, let’s get into it. 8 Reasons I Dislike Paystack Here are some of the reasons I dislike Paystack payment platform as a freelancer, and agency owner. 1. Payment After 1 Working Day If you’ve used Paystack, you know this pain. You receive a payment today, but you have to wait at least one working day  to access your funds. Recently, they introduced a feature where you can request part of your funds immediately, but come on - why not make all payments instant? 2. No Payments on Weekends Imagine this: a client pays you on a Friday evening. You need that money ASAP, but Paystack says, “No funds for you until Monday.” Why accept payments 24/7 if you can’t process withdrawals 24/7? It’s 2025, Paystack. Fintech should be 24/7. "You no getttt? 3. No USD or International Currency Support Paystack doesn’t allow you to receive payments in USD  or other major currencies. This is a huge problem if you have international clients. It’s like building a bridge but forgetting to add the last piece. 4. No Payments on Public Holidays There was a time I desperately needed to fund an ad campaign for a client. The money was sitting pretty in my Paystack dashboard, but it was a public holiday . I had to wait three extra days  to access MY money. You can imagine how frustrated I was. 5. Customer Support Isn't Always Perfect While Paystack’s customer support is generally fast (I’ll give them that), there have been times I needed urgent help and got generic responses  instead of real solutions. 6. High Downtime for Bank Transfers Sometimes, bank transfers fail  for hours. You get display errors like “pending” or “processing,” and it’s frustrating when you’re on a deadline. 7. Limited Payment Options for Freelancers If you’re a freelancer dealing with clients abroad, you’ll quickly realize that Paystack isn’t the most freelancer-friendly  platform. No PayPal integration? Seriously? 8. Transaction Limitations There are limits on how much you can receive per transaction , especially if your account isn’t fully verified. This isn’t cool when dealing with high-paying clients. What I Actually Like About Paystack Despite all my rants, I still use Paystack. Why? Because it’s not all bad. In fact, there are things I genuinely love about it. 1. Trustworthy I’ve never lost money with Paystack. Your funds are safe, and they’ve never scammed anyone. So, if you’re worried about Paystack being a scam, it’s not . 2. Super Cheap Fees Compared to other payment platforms, Paystack’s fees are low  and transparent. You know exactly what you’re being charged. 3. Fast Customer Support While not perfect, Paystack’s customer support is still better than most Nigerian fintechs . You can reach out via email or Twitter and get a response within hours. How to Sign Up for Paystack (Step-by-Step) A good number of people (especially Nigerians) think getting a Paystack is difficult. On the other hand it's not. In fact, I know of a lead who paid $300 to get a Paystack account for his (legal) business. Here is it; Go to www.paystack.com Click on “Create Free Account” Enter your email, choose a password, and click “Create Account” Fill in your business details Verify your email Add your bank account details Start accepting payments! How to Request Payments on Paystack Log in to your Paystack dashboard Click on “Payment Pages” Create a new payment page or use an existing one Share the link with your client Once the client pays, you’ll see the payment in your dashboard How to Accept Payments Directly to Your Nigerian Bank Go to your Paystack dashboard Click on “Transfers” Select “Withdraw Funds” Choose your Nigerian bank account Enter the amount you want to withdraw Click “Withdraw”  and wait for the funds to hit your account Paystack Customer Care Contact Email:   support@paystack.com Twitter:   @paystack Phone:  (Check your dashboard for the latest support numbers) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Is Paystack a scam? No.  Paystack is a legitimate, trusted fintech company used by thousands of businesses across Africa. How long does it take to receive money from Paystack? Usually 1 working day , but weekends and public holidays can cause delays. Can I receive payments from international clients? Yes, but not in USD directly. Clients can pay using their cards in Naira equivalent. Does Paystack work on weekends? You can receive payments, but withdrawals are processed on weekdays only. What’s the transaction fee? 1.5% for local transactions and 3.9% for international cards. Final Thoughts Paystack isn’t perfect, but it’s still one of the best payment platforms in Nigeria. If they could fix a few of these issues (especially weekend withdrawals ), life would be much easier. Do you use Paystack? What’s your experience been like? Today, we took one step closer to finding out! I, Simon Zaku (Founder & CEO of IBIFoundry.com.ng ), alongside our Principal Director, Dr. Mrs. Christie Salami Zaku , and our Legal Advisor, Bar. Hannah Fred had the honor of meeting with the Executive Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas. The goal? And that's where IbiFoundry comes in. That's me :) Simon 😉 Key Discussions in The Meeting: A Shared Vision for Innovation, Education, and Youth Empowerment During the meeting, I had the opportunity to share a story that perfectly captures the essence of the Governor’s vision. There’s this suya vendor ( mai suya ) I know in my area - one of my regulars. One day, as I was passing by a government school here in Taraba, I saw him smartly dressed in a school uniform. I was surprised and called out to him: "You too dey go school?" With a proud smile, he replied, " We no longer have any reason not to go to school. It’s free." That moment hit me deeply. I was amazed, happy, and proud at the same time! It wasn’t just about free education - it was about breaking barriers that had held so many back. That’s the kind of impact His Excellency Governor Agbu Kefas is making in Taraba State, Nigeria. In addition, Our Principal Director, Dr. Mrs. Christie Salami Zaku (and Principal Howai GSS, Jalingo) showcased the power of vision, leadership, and purpose,  and discussed one of the most transformative agendas in Taraba State, Nigeria: free education for all. The meeting wasn’t just a routine discussion. It was a powerful exchange of ideas focused on: Strengthening the free education policy to ensure no child is left behind. Addressing challenges in infrastructure, teacher support, and curriculum development. Partnership opportunities with IBIFoundry to foster innovations, youth empowerment, and sustainable educational growth. As both the Director of IBIFoundry and the Principal of Howai Government Secondary School, Dr. Christie Salami Zaku brought valuable insights from the ground, sharing firsthand experiences of how the Governor’s policies are transforming lives. "There's more work too but with the right policies and implementation, we're on the right track Sir", Dr. Mrs. Zaku added. Governor Agbu Kefas: A Leader Committed to Change Key points noted from our dialogue with Governor Kefas, he isn’t just passionate about education - he’s actively involved in its progress. As a matter of fact, His Excellency paid an unscheduled visit to Howai Government Secondary School, Mile Six, Jalingo, to personally assess the impact of his free education policy. Luckily, we covered the details of the visit/inspection. You can go through it here: " High-Level Meeting Between Dr. Christie S. Zaku & Gov Agbu Kefas: 'Free Education for All' Agenda for Taraba State " High-Level Meeting Between Dr. Christie S. Zaku & Gov Agbu Kefas: 'Free Education for All' Agenda for Taraba State This isn’t leadership from afar - it’s leadership in action. His goal is clear: to ensure every child in Taraba State has access to quality education, regardless of their background. We discussed a lot! Our conversation touched on: Strengthening education  to empower Taraba’s youth Unlocking entrepreneurial opportunities  for local businesses Boosting infrastructure & development  in Ibi Exploring partnerships that create lasting impact Why This Matters to You and I (IbiFounders, Tarabans) No More Barriers:  Children who couldn’t afford school before now have a chance to dream. Empowered Communities:  Education is creating opportunities that ripple through families and neighborhoods. A Brighter Future:  Taraba isn’t just aiming to be great in Nigeria—we’re positioning ourselves as one of the most progressive states in Africa.
